What do the Red LED Lights on the Ruida Controller Mean for Nova and Odin Lasers
Preface: This article covers what the Red LED Lights on the Ruida controller mean and some basic information about them. Just because you see a red light on, off or blinking, it does not necessarily mean that there is an issue.
Red Led Lights on Controller:
What do the Red LED Lights Each Mean:
LED1 - LmtX-
This is the X axis endstop input. This LED will be illuminated Red if the controller is receiving the X axis Endstop input. If the LED is illuminated but the laser head is not to the Left in the home position then you may have an issue with the X axis endstop.
X and Y Endstop Tests
LED2 - LmtX+
LED3- LmtY-
This is the Y axis endstop input. This LED will be illuminated Red if
the controller is receiving the Y axis Endstop input. If the LED is
illuminated but the laser head is not to the Back in the home position
then you may have an issue with the Y axis endstop.
X and Y Endstop Tests
LED4- LmtY+
LED5- LmtZ-
LED6- LmtZ+
This is the Z axis lower endstop. This LED will be illuminated Red if
the controller is receiving the Z axis lower endstop. If the LED is
illuminated but the honeycomb is not to the lower most position then you may have an issue with the Z axis lower endstop. The protection for ZLimit- only occurs if the sensor is activated while the Honeycomb is being jogged down so a stuck sensor will not prevent the bed from lowering to the mechanical limit.
