Getting Controller Info From Within LightBurn

Preface: In this article we show how to get the information about your controller from the 2 different versions of Lightburn and at the bottom of the article, an explanation about the data that is presented.

Getting the Hours Data:


Lightburn  V2.0 and later:


Connect to your laser, make sure you have the READY status:

(Machine should be idle with the green light on)


You can go to Laser Tools > GET CONTROLLER INFO:

How to interpret the data:

Total ON time: This is the amount of time the machine has been powered on, even if idel.

Total Job Processing Time: This is the amount of time that the machine has been running jobs

Previous Job Processing Time: This is the amount of time the last job took

Total Job laser On Time: This is your Tube hour meter. (If your tube is not original, you need to deduct the previous tube's hours or check to see if the hours were reset when the tube was replaced)

Total Job Count: Number of jobs the machine has run

X total Travel: Distance that X axis has traveled in meters

Y total Travel: Distance that Y axis has traveled in meters

Mainboard Firmware revision: Firmware of your controller (not the screen)
