Aurora vs Nova and Odin Rotary Port Wiring

Preface: This article is in progress and should not be used for any wiring or troubleshooting. There is a high level of information contained in this article.

Depending on which machine and control board you have, the wiring for your rotary may vary.  Nova (7pin) , Odin, Bolt and Aurora 2.0 all share the same rotary wiring. The Aurora 1.0 wiring was Gnd Reference signals, so some wire changes have to be made for the same Rotary to work on the different machines.

Wiring to make the Rotoboss Roller Rotary work on an Aurora 1.0:

Dir- - Grey Gnd

DiR+  -Blue

Pul-  - Grey Gnd

Pul+  -Yellow\Green

Nova (7pin)\Odin, Bolt and Aurora 2.0:

Wiring to make the Rotoboss Roller Rotary work on a Nova(7pin), Odin or Bolt:

Dir- - Yellow\Green

Dir+  -Grey 5v

Pul-  - Blue

Pul+  -Grey 5v
