Preface: This covers the causes of the frame slop alarm that you may get on your machine.
LCD panel shows the following information:
Most of the time the issue is a user error of file and machine origin set up, the machine is only alerting to the issue. The machine is doing what it is told by the software which is doing what the user selected. Need to backtrack to the design file and figure out what is wrong.
Here are the reasons:
● The size of the graphic is larger than the working area of the machine
If your laser cutter’s working area is 600×400mm, but you want to cut a graphic which larger than 600×400mm, this warn appears. Since the laser is not able to work beyond its working.
● Incorrect Origin point
If you set an incorrect Origin point on the laser (When not in absolute coordinates in the software), the graphic might be out of bounds. Please set a correct starting point to resolve this problem, like below.
●Stray graphic object
Look for a stray object in your project file. Delete and resend the project
●Older Machine with 5-Pin rotary while running a rotary job
-Use the preview in the software (Lightburn) to see what you are sending to the machine. Observe the red traversal lines in the preview to see if they navigate away from your main artwork
-Load the file on the Laser Machine so that the preview shows up on your machine screen, if it appears Zoom out (really small) that means you likely have a stray object that needs to be deleted
-Correct your origin set up in the software (Lightburn)....set it to use "Cut Selected" and "Use Selection Origin"
-Check the location of the Green Square origin indicator in Lightburn (If not in absolute coordinates)
