Titan: How to use the vacuum hold down table function

Preface:  Enabling this mode closes the top exhaust port to increase the suction through the bottom exhaust. On that basis, by increasing the honeycomb bed coverage to over 95%, the Vacuum Platform function is an application effectiveness will increase the hold down effect.

How to Enable and Use

  1. Locate the 'Start Adsorption Platform' option on the touch panel External Device option of the MENU and turn it to 'Open' state by pressing the slider circle. (In this mode, it closes the top exhaust valve and diverts the exhaust airflow  the bottom exhaust port that pulls through the honeycomb. )

    External Device under MENU
    Enable Vacuum Hold Down Function

  1. When using the Vacuum adsorption platform function, the honeycomb bed needs to be covered at least 95% to be the most effective. This concentrates the negative pressure under the workpiece and improves suction, allowing the material to stay flat and stable during engraving or cutting. Here are some options/ideas:

Mask the unused area with tape
Create your jig with pockets for your blanks
Pattern of holds in a sacrificial board

3. Complete your project

4. If the Adsorption Platform function is no longer needed, please turn off the 'vacuum adsorption platform' function on the touch panel and remove the (auxiliary) material from the platform.
