Thunder Laser Working Space Comparison for Gantry Laser (Nova, Odin and Bolt) for X Y and Z Axes

Preface: This article covers the working space sizes for the Thunder Laser Gantry lasers. Information was gathered from published data. This is for visualization only and the scaling of the images may not accurately reflect exact dimensional sizes.

X and Y working Space Comparison:

Z Axis Movement Comparison:

Considerations for Z Motion and Material Height:

-Rotary Attachments may be able to lowered below the honeycomb\knifebed support structure to provide additional clearance (Nova Series and Bolt*)
-Lens Tube selection can affect the working Height - a 4" Nozzle is longer than a 2" and the HR is shorter than both
-Nova Models have a pass-through that is good for .8" thick material with the 2" head with the stop ring removed to achieve focus

*Bolt is still in development, subject to change
