Nova Series Chiller Connections

Nova Series Chiller Connections

Preface: This article covers the standard connections from the Chiller to the Machine for a NOVA series laser

The water flow connections are labeled relative to the machine. You do not connect the Chiller Inlet to the Machine Inlet or the Chiller Outlet to the Machine outlet. Think of the connections in the direction of the water flow. Water should flow from the Chiller outlet to the Machine Inlet, then from the Machine Outlet to the Chiller Inlet. This creates the Loop that is needed to keep the water flowing in the correct direction.

Typical Chiller Connections:

Alarm Output Cable
Water Inlet Tube
Water Outlet Tube
Power Cable

Newer Labels to Color Code the Water Connections:

Orange - Chiller outlet to Machine Inlet
Green - Machine Outlet to Chiller Inlet
