Incorrect PC USB Cable Placements In A Small Number Of Machines

This affects fewer than 50 machines as defined below. We are tracking the machines to the client so we can proactively address the issue. If you think your machine is affected and you have not been contacted, please email support@thunderlaserusa.com with a picture of your serial number and the cord(s) you received and we will be happy to assist.

Thunder Laser's factory found that some Nova machines in Containers #168 and #170 are missing a PC USB connection cable (pictured below) and were sent a 3m encoder cable by mistake.

Machines Affected

Our preliminary assessment is that 15x Nova24's and 10x Nova63-130w's PC cables were wrong:
  1. in #168 there are 3x Nova24 units affected
  2. in #170 there are 12x Nova24 and 10x Nova63-130 units affected

This affects fewer than 50 machines as defined above. We are tracking the machines to the client so we can proactively address send the replacement cables to the affected units. We ask that you retain the incorrect cable and return via prepaid label provided by us. If you think your machine is affected and you have not been contacted, please email support@thunderlaserusa.com with a picture of your serial number and the cord(s) you received and we will be happy to assist.

Workarounds If Awaiting The Correct Cable

Use another USB Cable

The PC USB Cables we use are common USB A to USB B cables like commonly found with other devices and printers.
You may have one already on hand, or you can get one on Amazon. Here is an example:




Connect Via Ethernet
