How to remove or replace the Stack Light Status Red Green Lamp

This guide will show you the steps needed to replace the stack light on a Nova series machine. Some variations in components may exist depending on vintage.

What you will need to complete this job:
-20 minutes
-Small flat head screw driver
-3mm Allen Wrench
-Camera



Step 1: Power off machine at the main\laser switches and unplug from the wall




Step 2: Open up access door
The top door on the right side of the machine is bolted shut. Remove the two bolts from the inside and then use the Key to unlock and open the door from the outside.


Step 3: Take a picture of the wiring which is on the back right side of the machine.
(You can verify that you have the right wiring by tracing it back to the stack light)

Black,Green,Red Orange
------------------------------
Brown, Black, Yellow,Blue



Step 4: Unwire the 4 connections with a flat head screwdriver


Step 5: Undo plastic retainer clip for wire using a flat head screw driver


Step 6: Unscrew stack light from machine with a 3mm Allen Wrench
(It helps to pivot the light down for clearance)
Remove the 3 Bolts and then pull the stack light and wires out, guiding the wires through the hole.



Reinstall in reverse.
