Complete Guide:

There are a few things to note before you begin:

1. Framing and from within Lightburn uses different parameters than the machine settings. This will be detailed below
2. If you have the GT5 Touch Screen , your frame and jog will not be the same as the non-touch Screen. This will be detailed below

In Lightburn:

From the move window you can control the Speed of the Jog which also controls the speed of the frame (standard or rubber-band type) from within Lightburn.

GT5 Touch Screen Machines:

You use the Jog Set Speeds for Turtle and Rabbit on the Manual screen. You can select which speed you want enabled and the selected speed will control the jog and framing speed from the machine screen. The speeds of interested are boxed in red in the below image.

High and Low Speed:

High Speed and Low Speed mode only affect the Physical buttons below the screen. These modes allow the user to quickly move the laser head to a position and then enable the Low Speed setting to be able to do a much more fine move when positioning the Red Dot.

Keys to Success with High and Low Speed:
-Set the values to reasonable values. 100mms for High and 10mms for Low are good starting values
-Know that they speeds only affect the the Physical Buttons
How to use High and Low Speed:
-Set the High and Low Speed Values by pressing the numeric entry box, then in the Pop Up, enter the desired values and press OK

-Select between High (Rabbit) and Low(Turtle) by pressing the icon next to the numeric entry box to toggle between the speeds

Non Touch Screen Machines:

On the older Nova and Odin machines you will use the blue SPEED button to set the speed of the Jog and Framing on the machine.

1. Press the Speed button

2. Enter your speed (Adjust each digit separately)

3. Press enter

The jog and Framing from controller speeds will be affected by that setting.
